Michelle Pence is the author of The Good Intern, a blog designed to offer practical advice to college students about interning and preparing to enter the workforce from the perspective of someone with plenty of first-hand experience.
In her almost four years of college, Michelle has participated in eight internships in the areas of marketing, communication, law, politics, and government. This range of experience allows her to connect with a wide base of students and young professionals through The Good Intern blog. Michelle’s writing has been featured on websites such as Monster and Her Campus, and has gained attention from university career centers across the country.
Michelle grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and currently attends Missouri State University. She intends to graduate with honors in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Socio-Political Communication, a minor in General Business, and a Certificate in Conflict and Dispute Resolution. Michelle has persistently been on the Dean’s List for a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and is an honorary member of Lambda Pi Eta National Communication Honor Society. Aside from classes, Michelle has been heavily involved in over ten student organizations at Missouri State.
In her spare time Michelle enjoys writing, politics, reading, traveling, and cooking.
